'Unnatural Causes' looks at inequities

There will be a special screening and panel discussion Wednesday of "Unnatural Causes," a PBS series examining America's racial and socioeconomic inequities in health care.

There will be a special screening and panel discussion Wednesday of "Unnatural Causes," a PBS series examining America's racial and socioeconomic inequities in health care.

Advertisement"It's not just about access to health care," said Jan Gilbert, Northern Nevada coordinator for the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada. "Communities of color are being affected by the social environment."

The screening and discussion will be at 6:30 p.m. at Cathexes, an architectural firm at 250 Bell St. The evening is hosted by PLAN. For more details, contact Gilbert at 882-3440.
