Liz just joined the PLAN team in early 2024 (or however you want to state that best since there are 3 of us new folks). Originally from South Carolina, Liz moved to Las Vegas in 2004 after college and truly believes Home Means Nevada. After earning her Masters in Environmental Science at UNLV, she has worked on water conservation with the Southern Nevada Water Authority, as a middle school science instructor and a professor at CSN, and has volunteered on many campaigns, even running for State Senate herself in 2020. Liz is passionate about a clean and equitable energy transition, travel, her family, and politics!
