LAS VEGAS, NV — In response to the failed Senate passage of Assembly Bill 4, the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada released the following statement:
“The Republican Senate leadership failed Nevada. The same members who stood in defense of the multibillion dollar mining industry, have said little to nothing as public education, health care, and state employee pay are cut.
“Our state deserves more than a trickle down recovery. This special session must be used to find revenue to fill budget holes, not just make cuts to public programs and our state’s social safety net.”
