Kevin J. Wong, an Environmental Justice Organizer and a formerly-incarcerated fourth-year undergraduate scholar majoring in Political Science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, brings a unique blend of passion and purpose to his work. Introduced to PLAN’s advocacy in 2019 during the state legislature’s 80th legislative session, Wong contributed his testimony to PLAN’s grassroots organizing and mobilization that ultimately proved  successful in restoring the voting rights of numerous formerly convicted Nevadans through the passage of AB431.Wong’s dedication to advocacy and his professional experience serve as the cornerstone for his aspirations to pursue a law degree in the near future. With a commitment to justice and a drive to effect positive change, Wong stands poised to make significant contributions in the realms of environmental justice and beyond.
